Let's Set the Mood: How To Create A Self-Care Vibe

From being used as a meditation tool to providing an energy boost, you know that we can talk about the power of puzzles all day! But, believe it or not, RVL was created for more than just puzzling. We aim to provide our growing tribe with an elevated self-care experience.

Self-care is of course all about you! The things that you like, what makes you comfortable and what activities fit your lifestyle and experiences. We each have our own vibes. So, we want to help you set some intentions and make a plan to create your unique self-care vibe. Let's get into it!

Set Your Intention
Setting your intention is a powerful way to set the tone for any self-care activity. It helps you stay focused and can serve as a reminder for your overall goals. When you know what you want, it's easier to stay on track with your plan. (Oop, a word! Read that two more times!)

Some examples of intentions are:
- I am here for myself and my wellbeing in this moment.
- Right now my focus is on me.
- I am going to be kind to myself by taking time out of my day.

Find Your Flow
Sis, let's be honest, finding your flow is a process. It's an evolving, ever-changing journey that you are going to be on for the rest of your life. But for this current vibe, focus on the moment and the activity you're choosing to enjoy. Don't be discouraged if you don't feel brand new right away or your set up doesn't look like your fave on Instagram. Focus on what you're feeling - and feel free to journal about it!

Ignite Your Senses
Aromatherapy, meditation, yoga, mindfulness and of course puzzles are a great way to relax your body and mind. You really only need a few minutes each day for some focused self-care: light a candle and sit in front of it; listen to music; take a bath with your favorite bath bomb; breath in your favorite scent or even take that 48 piece puzzle out at your desk during your lunch break.

Your self-care routine and vibe can be as unique as you are. It's about what works for you, and no one else. You're the only person who knows how to keep yourself healthy and happy - no matter how simple or complex the vibe might be, it's up to you to figure out what makes sense for your life. You don't need to wait until morning or evening gets here to begin creating your vibe. Start now, even if its 2 AM on Saturday and you want to start a puzzle 😉

We know with all we often have going on it can be a challenge but remember that the journey towards a more mindful and intentional life is one that's worth taking! Remember that every step counts as long as you're moving in the direction that is right for you. So go ahead and start writing down your thoughts and feelings, making playlists, setting up your lighting or deciding which RVL puzzle you're going to start on - whatever inspires you!
